Intellectual property
CONTROLLEDThe foundations behind enterprise AI governance.
The Configurational Systems Framework (CSF) is foundational intellectual property owned and governed by Polycentric Ventures. It examines the relationships among people, AI systems, evidence, and authority, including the conditions for carrying learning into later decisions. This page provides reference information about that body of work and related intellectual property.
Governed categories
One intellectual-property system, described at a public level.
This introduction describes the subject of the work without replacing its canonical definition or disclosing controlled methods. The categories below explain how ownership, records, research, extensions, and bounded application authority fit together. They are not a public index of canonical contents.
CSF corpus and foundational theory
The body of foundational concepts and owned material at the center of this approach to enterprise AI governance. Its development connects foundational research with practical questions of evidence, authority, oversight, and learning.
Canonical terminology and method architecture
Controlled terms, relationships, provenance, and method structures maintained under canonical authority.
Research, publication, and historical rights
Rights and records governing research development, approved publication, source history, corrections, and archival continuity.
Extensions and derivative intellectual property
Governed work that tests, validates, extends, transfers, or derives methods from the foundational system without silently rewriting the core.
Licensing and amendment authority
Polycentric Ventures may authorize bounded applications while retaining ownership, canonical control, amendment authority, and reserved decisions.
Review + correction
Public description with visible control boundaries.
Material public descriptions are routed through ownership, scope, review, and correction controls. A public page can summarize a controlled record; it does not become the record.
